چکیده

In this paper, an experimental study was achieved for the melting process of a phase change material around copper tube with three longitudinal fins that placed inside rectangular plastic container as horizontally latent thermal energy storage unit (LTESU). A paraffin wax used (PCM). Some parameters were considerable in work like directions at angles (0°, 30°, 60° and 90°), temperature water entering to finned (55, 65 75) °C effect flow rate (7.5, 15 22.5) liters / min. The law conservation find amount potential stored by calculating liberated from hot system. results showed system has given increases (64.3)% (75) compared (55) ° C. Also reached (17.5)% (22.5) min (7.5) . (25.6)% angle (30) degrees (90) degrees. also when using C, l/min rotation (30°) maximum enhancement ratio fraction (5.74)% (65) (15) (11.9)%. When incoming (12.03)%. highest percentage time savings (12.03%) (90°). Finally, C fin l (5355) watts.

Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer of Nanofluids over a Flat Plate with Conjugate Heat Transfer

The falling and settling of solid particles in gases and liquids is a natural phenomenon happens in many industrial processes. This phenomenon has altered pure forced convection to a combination of heat conduction and heat convection in a flow over a plate. In this paper, the coupling of conduction (inside the plate) and forced convection of a non-homogeneous nanofluid flow (over a flat plate) ...

Melting Heat Transfer and Radiation Effects on Jeffrey Fluid Flow over a Continuously Moving Surface with a Parallel Free Stream

This article is proposed to address the melting heat transfer of a Jeffrey fluid in Blasius and Sakiadis flow caused due to a moving surface. Thermal radiation and a constant free stream are considered in this mathematical model. The non-linear coupled dimensionless equations from the governing equations are attained by employing appropriate similarity transformations. The resulting dimensionle...

On the natural convective heat transfer from a cold horizontal cylinder over an adiabatic surface

A steady two-dimensional laminar free convection heat transfer from a cold horizontal isothermal cylinder located above an adiabatic floor is studied both experimentally and numerically. In the experimental measurements the effects of cylinder distance from horizontal floor to its diameter (L/D) on heat transfer coefficient is studied for Rayleigh numbers of 3×105 and 6×105. Computations are ma...

MHD Three-Dimensional Stagnation-Point Flow and Heat Transfer of a Nanofluid over a Stretching Sheet

In this study, the three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer of stagnation-point flow in a nanofluid was investigated. The Navier–Stokes equations were reduced to a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations using a similarity transform. The similarity equations were solved for three types of nanoparticles: copper, alumina and titania with water as the base fluid, to inve...
